Violet Jam Recipe

To make Violet Jam you will need
Ingredients
| 2 | cups | Flowers, make sure there clean and have NO herbicides | | 2 | cups | Boiling water | | 2 | tablespoons | Lemon juice | | 1 | package | Pectin | | 4 | cups | Sugar |
Instructions
Pour water over flowers let sit overnight. Strain and discard flowers, add
lemon juice and pectin. Bring to boil, add sugar. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes.
Pour in to sterilized jars and seal.
NOTE; Try using leaves in soups as a thickener (like you would use Okra).
Blossoms are great in salads too.
