Tomato Soup Recipe

To make 4 portions of tomato soup you will need.
Ingredients
| 2 | cans | diced tomatoes (28 oz) | | 8 | fl oz | Chicken stock | | 2 | oz | Butter | | 2 | tablespoons | Sugar | | 1 | tablespoon | Chopped onion | | 1/8 | teaspoons | Baking soda | | 16 | fl oz | Milk |
Instructions
In a saucepan, add the tomatoes, chicken stock, butter, sugar, onion and baking soda. Cover and simmer for 1
hour. Heat milk, add to tomato mixture just before serving. Makes about 2.5 pints.
Serve the Tomato Soup with a swirl of cream and melba toast.
