Pigs in Blankets Recipe

Ingredients To make pigs in blankets you will need:
Sausages, usually pork chipolatas Good streaky bacon

Heat the oven to 375F/190C/gas mark 5. Lay a bacon rasher on a board and wrap the rasher around a sausage. Repeat with the rest of the bacon. Bake the wrapped sausages for 25 minutes, until golden. Eat warm.
You could also leave some of the chipolatas blanket free and cook them in the same way.
Pigs in blankets are an essential accompanyment for any Christmas dinner. If you have limited space in your oven on Christmas day, you can cook these early then wrap in foil and lay them somewhere in the oven where you have a space, or reheat them.
