Laver (Seaweed) and Fish Soup Recipe

 
 


Ingredients

To make Laver and Fish soup you will need:
225g Laver (Seaweed)
2 Fillets of Fish (large)
1 Onion, chopped
1 Carrot, chopped
1 Large Potato, sliced thinly
1 Tblsp Tomato Puree
100ml Passata or tomato juice
Pinch Salt
Pinch Pepper
1 Small glass white wine
250ml fish or vegatable stock (fresh or from a cube).


Instructions

Add the potato, onion and carrot to a large pan with the wine and stock and cook until the vegetables are tender.
Lay the fish on top, cover and cook for a further ten minutes.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool a little then liquidise.
Add the laver, tomato puree and passata and season to taste.
Heat and serve.
