Golden Pound Cake Recipe

To make Golden Pound Cake you will need
Ingredients
| 1 | cup | Butter -- at room | | | Temperature | | 3 | ounces | Cream Cheese -- at room | | | Temperature | | 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla | | 1 1/2 | cups | Sugar | | 5 | | Whole Eggs | | 2 | cups | Flour, All-Purpose -- | | | Sifted | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Baking Powder | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Salt |
Instructions
Beat butter, cheese, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Gradually add sugar, beating until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture in thirds,
beating until smooth after each addition.
Turn into a greased and lightly floured 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pan. Bake at 325
degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until done.
