Chicken Creole Recipe

To make Chicken Creole for 4 people you will need
Ingredients
| 4 | medium | Chicken breast halves;Skinless and boneless, cut into 1-inch strips | | 1 | can | (14-oz) chopped tomatoes | | 8 | fl oz | chili sauce | | 1 | large | Chopped green pepper | | 2 1/2 | oz | Chopped celery | | 1 1/4 | oz | Chopped onion | | 2 | | Cloves garlic; minced | | 1 | tablespoon | Chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried basil; crushed | | 1 | tablespoon | Chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried parsley | | 1/4 | teaspoons | paprika | | 1/4 | teaspoons | Salt | | | oil for frying or spray oil |
Instructions
Add the oil to a deep frying pan. Preheat pan over high heat.
Cook the chicken in hot fyring pan, stirring, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until no
longer pink.
Reduce heat. Add tomatoes and their juice, chili sauce, green
pepper, celery, onion, garlic, basil, parsley, paprika, and
salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Serve the chicken creole over hot cooked rice or whole wheat pasta.
