Cashew and Raisin Pilaf Recipe

To make Cashew and Raisin Pilaf for 4
Ingredients
| 1 | | Onion; chopped | | 2 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil | | 1 | cup | Basmati rice | | 2 | | Cinnamon stick | | 2 | | Cloves | | 1 | | Bay leaf; crumbled | | 2/3 | cups | Raw cashews; toasted | | 1/3 | cups | Raisins |
Instructions
Cook onion over low heat until tender. Add rice, cinnamon, cloves, bay
leaf, cashews, raisins. Cook for 2 minutes. Add 2 cups of water; cover.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
