Beef Empanadas recipe

To make Beef Empanadas you will need
Ingredients
| 1/2 | pounds | Ground beef | | 2 | | Golden raisins | | 1/2 | cups | Corn; thawed | | 1/8 | cups | Tomato paste | | 2 | | Green salsa | | 1/2 | cups | Cheddar cheese; shredded | | 1 | | Dried basil | | 1 | | Pillsbury Grands Refrigerator; biscuits | | 1 | | Egg; beaten |
Instructions
In large skillet brown ground beef. Stir in raisins, corn, tomato paste
and salsa, heat throughly. Remove from heat stir in cheese and basil. Set
aside.
Preheat oven to 375F. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Roll orpress each to
a 5 inch circle. Place about 1/4 cup meat mixture in center of biscuit.
Fold in half; seal edges and prick with fork. Brush with egg.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until golden
brown.
