Bee Chee recipe
|
To make Bee Chee you will need
Ingredients
| 1 | pound | Bacon; cut up | | 2 | large | Onions; chopped | | 1 | | Small head cabbage; chopped (4 c.) | | 3 | tablespoons | Water | | 2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce | | 2 | teaspoons | Cornstarch | | 1 | teaspoon | Garlic powder | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Sugar | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Ginger | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Black pepper 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes | | 2 | tablespoons | Toasted sesame seeds |
Instructions
Cook bacon in large skillet until not quite crisp. Reserve 2 T. bacon fat
in pan. Drain and reserve bacon. Add onions and cabbage to fat in pan.
Stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add bacon and cook for 1 minute more. Combine
water, soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, sugar, ginger, black pepper,
crushed red pepper and sesame seeds. Pour over cabbage. Heat well.
