Baked Apples a Lorange Recipe

 
 


To make Baked Apples a Lorange you will need

Ingredients

6 medium Cooking apples
1/4 cups Unsweetened apple juice
1/4 cups ;water
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
2 Whole cloves
1 (4-inch) stick cinnamon; broken in half
1/3 cups Reduced-calorie orange marmalade
6 small Gingersnap cookies; crushed

Instructions

Core apples to within 1/2 inch from bottom; peel top third of each
apple. Place apples in a 12" x 8" x 2" baking dish; add apple juiceand
next 4 ingredients. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 30 minutes, basting often
with cooking liquid. Remove apples from oven; spoon equal amounts of
marmalade into center of each apple, and sprinkle with gingersnap crumbs.
Bake an additional 5 minutes or until apples are done.

Yield: 6 servings. (127 calories per serving.)
