Bak-O-Bayou Salad Recipe

To make Bak-O-Bayou Salad you will need
Ingredients
| 1 | | Head Iceberg lettuce | | 1 | | Bunch watercress | | 2 | | Creole tomatoes, cut into>> | | | Wedges. | | 1 | | Med. onion, sliced | | 1/2 | | Clove garlic, crushed | | 1/2 | cups | Mayonnaise | | 1 1/2 | tablespoons | Anchovy paste | | 1 1/2 | tablespoons | Tarragon vinegar | | 1 1/2 | teaspoons | Lemon juice | | 3 | tablespoons | Chopped parsley | | | Pareve imitation bacon bits |
Instructions
Tear lettuce into lge. pcs. and cut watercress into sm. pcs. Place lettuce,
watercress, and tomatoes in a bowl. Separate onion slices into rings and
add to lettuce mixture. Chill.
Blend garlic with mayo. and anchovy paste in a bowl, then stir in vinegar
and lemon juice slowly. Add parsley and chill. Pour dressing over lettuce
mixture and garnish with imitation bacon bits.
