Bacon Cheese Biscuit Recipe

To make Bacon Cheese Biscuit you will need
Ingredients
| 2 | cups | Self-rising flour | | 1/2 | cups | Shortening | | 1/2 | cups | (about 2 ounces ) shredded cheddar cheese | | 3/4 | cups | Plus | | 2 | tablespoons | Milk | | 1/4 | cups | Chopped green onions | | 4 | slices | Bacon; cooked and crumbled |
Instructions
Christmas. Combine flour and shortening; cut in shortening with a pastry
blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cheese, milk, onions, and
bacon, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a
lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.Roll dough to
1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased
baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: about 1
dozen.
