Autumn Days Pilaf Recipe

To make Autumn Days Pilaf you will need
Ingredients
| 1 | tablespoon | Vegetable oil | | 1/3 | cups | Chopped onions | | 1 | cup | Uncooked brown rice | | 3 | cups | Chicken stock | | 1/4 | teaspoons | Ground cumin | | 1 | tablespoon | Tomato paste | | 1/4 | cups | Dried lentils | | 1 | cup | Chicken; cooked and chopped | | 1/2 | cups | Shredded carrots | | 1/2 | cups | Unsalted sunflower seeds | | 1/2 | cups | Raisins |
Instructions
Heat oil in skillet until hot. Saute onions until tender. Add rice and stir
until lightly browned. Add chicken stock and next 3 ingredients; stir well.
Cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 30 minutes. Stir in chicken,
carrots, sunflower seeds, and raisins. Cover and cook 10-15 minutes or
until all liquid is absorbed. Serves 6.
