Austria Viennese Coconut Macaroons Recipe

To make Austria Viennese Coconut Macaroons you will need
Ingredients
| 1/3 | cups | Butter | | 1/2 | cups | Sugar | | 2 | | Eggs | | 2 | tablespoons | Heavy cream | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Vanilla | | 1/2 | cups | Flour | | 4 | tablespoons | Cornstarch | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Baking powder | | 1 | cup | Coconut | | 6 | | Vanilla Wafers; crushed |
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar. Add the well-beaten eggs, cream and vanilla. Sift
the dry ingredients, and add to the first mixture. Add the coconut and
wafers. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 1 inch apart, on a greased cookie sheet and
bake in a moderate oven until brown on top. 8-10 minutes.
