Asparagus Cheese Soup Recipe

To make Asparagus Cheese Soup you will need
Ingredients
| 1/4 | cups | Butter | | 1/4 | cups | Flour | | 1 | tablespoon | Salt | | 1/8 | teaspoons | Nutmeg | | 1/8 | teaspoons | Pepper | | 6 | cups | Milk | | 2 | packages | (10 oz.) frozen asparagus cooked; ch | | 3 | cups | Shredded Cheddar cheese |
Instructions
Melt butter; blend in flour and seasonings. Remove from heat and stir in
milk. Return to heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add asparagus and cooking water; heat to simmering. Remove from heat and
stir in cheese until melted. Garnish with paprika, if desired.
