Asiago Cheese Sticks recipe

To make Asiago Cheese Sticks you will need
Ingredients
| 2 | cups | Cake flour | | 1 1/3 | cups | Semolina flour | | 2 | tablespoons | Baking powder | | 1/2 | cups | Plus 2 Tbs. unsalted butter; softened | | 1/4 | cups | Plus 1 Tbs. sugar | | 4 | large | Eggs | | 1 | large | Egg yolk | | 3/4 | cups | Milk | | 1/2 | cups | Buttermilk | | 3/4 | cups | Asiago cheese; grated | | Prep: | 15 | min, Cook: 15 min. |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350øF. Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Stir to mix
well and set aside. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, until smooth
and light. Add eggs and egg yolk, one at a time, beating and scraping the
bowl constantly until smooth. Stir in reserved dry ingredients until
incorporated. Add milk and buttermilk and mix to form a smooth batter. Fold
in Asiago. Pour batter into greased cornstick molds (or prepared cake pan)
and bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove
from heat and let cool briefly before turning out of pans and serving.
