Applesauce Cookies recipe

To make Applesauce Cookies you will need
Ingredients
| 1/2 | cups | Butter | | 3/4 | cups | Sugar | | 3/4 | cups | Brown sugar | | 1 | teaspoon | Almond extract | | 2 | | Eggs | | 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla extract | | 1 | cup | Applesauce | | 2 | cups | Flour | | 1 1/2 | cups | Oatmeal | | 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda | | 1 | cup | Ground almonds | | 1 | cup | Pecan pieces; optional | | 1 | cup | Raisins; optional |
Instructions
Cream together butter and sugars. Add almond extract, eggs, vanilla and
applesauce. Mix well. Blend in flour, oatmeal, baking soda and almonds. If
desired, add pecan pieces and/or raisins. Drop by teaspoons onto
Teflon-coated cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Yields
3 dozen cookies.
