Applesauce Cake recipe

To make Applesauce Cake you will need
Ingredients
| 1 | cup | EDEN Applesauce | | 1/2 | cups | EDEN Safflower Oil | | 1 | cup | EDENSOY OR- any EDEN food beverage | | 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla (if not using Vanilla flavor) | | 3/4 | cups | Honey | | 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder | | 2 | teaspoons | Baking soda | | 1/4 | teaspoons | LIMA Sea Salt | | 2 | cups | Whole wheat pastry flour | | 2 1/2 | teaspoons | Cinnamon | | 1 | teaspoon | Nutmeg | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Allspice | | 3/4 | cups | Chopped walnuts (optional) | | 3/4 | cups | Raisins (optional) |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Oil two inverted torte pans or one 8"x8" cake pan.
Blend all liquid ingredients until creamy. Add baking powder, baking
soda, spices and salt to flour and mix well. Pour wet ingredients into
dry ingredients and stir thoroughly. Add nuts and raisins if using and
mix well. Bake 30-40 minutes, until center is done. If using inverted
torte pans, turn cakes over and fill with custard. Decorate with fresh
fruit if desired If using cake pan, cut into squares and pour custard
over individual pieces.
