Apple Nut Muffins recipe

To make Apple Nut Muffins you will need
Ingredients
| 2 | cups | Sifted flour | | 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Salt | | 1/4 | cups | Sugar | | 1/2 | cups | Milk | | 1/2 | cups | Drippings or other shortening | | 2 | | Eggs | | 3/4 | cups | Applesauce; unsweetened | | 1/2 | cups | Chopped nuts |
Instructions
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Add melted drippings
and mix. Add beaten eggs, applesauce and nuts. Stir only until flour is
moistened. Fill greased 2 1/2 inch tins 2/3 full. Bake in moderate oven 375
degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
