Apple Crumble recipe

 
 


To make Apple Crumble you will need

Ingredients

6 cups Peeled and sliced tart apples
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
2 tablespoons Flour
3 tablespoons Dark brown sugar
3/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
1/8 teaspoons Nutmeg
CRUMBLE
2 tablespoons Flour
3/4 cups Dark brown sugar
1/2 cups Uncooked oatmeal (either regular or minute)
1/2 cups Butter or margarine

Instructions




Peel core and slice desired amount of apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice to
avoid apples turning brown. Mix next four ingredients, pour over slices
and mix well. Pour mixture into deep, oven-proof dish or pan.

Mix flour, sugar and oatmeal for crumble and cut in butter or margarine
until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of apples.

Bake at 400 degrees 40 to 50 minutes, or until done and brown on top. Serve
hot or cold as desired.
