Apple Chutney recipe

To make Apple Chutney you will need
Ingredients
| 3 | cups | Green tomatoes; chopped | | 2 | tablespoons | Salt | | 1 | quart | Cider vinegar; 4 cups | | 2 | tablespoons | Salt | | 1 | pound | Brown sugar | | 12 | | Tart apples; cored and chopped | | 2 | | Spanish onions; chopped | | 1 | pound | Raisins | | 2 | tablespoons | Fresh ginger root; grated | | 2/3 | cups | Fresh mint; finely minced | | 2 | tablespoons | Flour | | 1/4 | cups | Water |
Instructions
Sprinkle tomatoes with 2 tablespoons salt and leave 12 hour. Drain. Mix all
ingredients except flour and water, in a saucepan. Cook over low heat until
the apples and nions are tender-about 30 mins. Mix flour and water. Add to
the tomato mixture in the pot. Simmer 5 mins. Pour into hot sterilized jars
and seal. Makes 4 pints
