Almond Chicken Casserole Recipe

 
 


To make almond chicken casserole you will need

Ingredients

26 1/4 oz Chicken, Boned, Skinned & Diced
5 1/4 oz Celery, Chopped
4 fl oz Mayonnaise
8 ounces Water Chestnuts, Sliced
1 tablespoon Salt
5 1/4 oz Almonds, Sliced
5 3/4 oz Butter
16 fl oz Chicken-Broth
2 1/2 oz Almonds, Sliced
27 oz Rice, Cooked
4 fl oz Plain Yogurt
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
3/4 tablespoons White Pepper, Ground
3 tablespoons Onion, Chopped
15 3/4 oz Corn Flakes
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the chicken, mayonnaise, yogurt,
cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, white pepper, salt, lemon juice,
onion, rice, water chestnuts, the first measure of almonds and the celery
together in a large, well buttered casserole dish. Mix the second measure
of almonds, butter and corn flakes together. Sprinkle the mixture over the
top of the casserole. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Serve hot.
