Almond and Poppy Seed Tea Bread Recipe

To make almond and poppy seed tea bread you will need
Ingredients
| 12 3/4 | oz | Flour | | 17 1/2 | oz | Sugar | | 1 1/2 | teaspoons | Baking powder | | 3 | | Eggs | | 12 | fl oz | Milk | | 8 | fl oz | + 2 tbsp. oil | | 1 1/2 | teaspoons | Vanilla | | 1 1/2 | teaspoons | Almond flavoring | | 1 1/4 | oz | poppy-seeds |
| | GLAZE | | | | 2 | fl oz | Orange juice | | 5 1/4 | oz | Sugar | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Vanilla | | 1/2 | teaspoons | Almond extract |
Instructions
Blend all ingredients until well blended. Pour into greased tins. Bake at
350 degrees for 1 hour. Heat all
glaze ingredients until sugar melts. Brush on cooled breads with a pastry
brush. Allow glaze to harden before wrapping.
Makes 2 large, 3 medium or 4 small loaves of almond and poppy see tea bread.
