To make affinity cake you will need
Ingredients
| 6 1/4 | oz | Butter | | 14 | oz | Brown sugar | | 3 | | Eggs | | 8 | fl oz | Milk | | 10 1/2 | oz | Flour | | 2 | teaspoons | Baking powder | | 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla | | 5 1/4 | oz | Chopped nuts |
Instructions
Simply add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
Beat for 10 minutes to blend the ingredients then tip into a lined and greased springform cake tin.
Place in an oven pre-heated to 160C and bake for 50 minutes until the cake is golden and a skewer inserted into the centre emerges clean.
Enjoy your affinity cake with a nice cup of tea.
